Native Americans Ways Can Be Super Spiritual - 1700 Words

Native Americans ways can be super spiritual. I find the Native American one of the most interesting cultural, but it happens they are the least I known about. I want to focus on is the traditions, rituals and mystics as well. Native Americans cultures and traditions are related to specific individual tribes. These are the indigenous people of North America. I will discuss the Lakota Sundance first and the healing rituals scared Native American ways. Native Americans believe in the Great Spirit, which is also known as the Supreme Being or creator of life. One of the major ceremonies I would like to take a closer look on it is the Sun Dance. The Sun Dance ceremony has been practiced by Indigenous people from North America, including Canada. I learned that it is primarily in the plains culture. The commonly know is the Lakota Sun Dance. The Sun Dance is the most sacred ceremony of the Lakota people by the Creator. The ceremony has been with the Lakota people since the time of their first ancestors and it has been with them for many thousands of years. The Sun Dance varies tribe to tribe in both meaning an practice. The ceremony celebrated in the summer, which is usually a full moon. The Sun Dance is actually 28 days but the last four days are the ones in which the dancing and most of the ceremony takes place in. The main Sun Dancers are required to be invited to dance, they must spend a year in preparing themselves for the dance.
